This is what we stand for
The concept of Aidshilfe Düsseldorf e.V. and Care24 PflegeService gGmbH as a subsidiary.
The main aims of the association Aidshilfe Düsseldorf e.V. are
  • The prevention of new HIV infections, or other sexually transmitted diseases by means of prevention and public relations (education)
  • As well as the improvement of the living conditions for people with HIV and Aids, and actual support for those affected and their environment by means of professional advice, support, care and accommodation.

These aims are based on a human mission, which assumes that all people are valuable. This human mission focuses both on solidarity and self-help, as well as the recognition and promotion of independence and joie de vivre.

Aidshilfe Düsseldorf e.V. lobbies and represents the interests of people, who are disadvantaged within society, who run the risk of or are affected by an HIV infection, as well as their relatives and next of kin, such as homosexual people, (former) drug addicts, migrants, prisoners etc., but it should be stated that HIV is a matter for all. The association strives to contribute towards a decrease in discrimination.

The association is mainly funded by five groups. These are:
  • members
  • donors and sponsors
  • persons with HIV and Aids, as well as their next of kin
  • volunteers
  • employees.

These groups support each other, act jointly, contribute and help each other. Transparency is incredibly important in this respect. Aidshilfe Düsseldorf e.V. monitors the latest trends and changes in regards to health care and welfare politics relevant to their work area and will continue to react to changes in a flexible manner.
